STORY OF THE INSPIRING ALIEN TAROT

Hi! Are you new to this deck?

Here’s the story of how I came up with the Inspiring Alien Tarot deck and how this deck was birthed into the world.

Between 2014-2016 I went to art school. I had already been reading tarot on-off for a bit, and as I got ill with some mental health problems and went into a hospital a couple of times, I was kinda bored there and needed something else to focus on, so I just pulled cards on a hospital bed and learned this system more.

I had already been learning the cards more in depth around 2015 and that’s when these images started to pop into my head. I had also come to the conclusion that I needed a new deck because my old one was SOOOOO beaten up because it was the ONLY one I had and I used it SO MUCH.

That’s when I found the endless wormhole of tarot deck variations.

But it wasn’t nearly as big as it is today… I might have a video coming soon about publishing in 2017 VS 2021 because the difference is so drastic.

ANYWAY…

I bought myself a few new decks, Deviant Moon Tarot* was one of the first completely new decks and it was love at first sight, still reads absolutely beautifully to me, and a big inspiration to creating one of my own. I still absolutely adore the creator, Patrick Valenza.

Now back then, there was only a few, literally a few, alien themed tarot decks on the market, barely any with such surreal themes, alien decks that already existed weren’t that colorful, and I decided that I wanted one that was colorful and cute, but nothing too “kawaii” if that makes sense Because my art is more expressionist than anything. Always has been. I was growing into my artistic style as I studied in art school and I decided to finish creating this deck as my degree work / graduation project.

Side note: Starseeds wasn’t as trendy of a topic either. It’s such a popular thing now compared to then. I’m not surprised, but there’s a few things to say about this… for another time hahah

I had many people in the tarot community following along this project and I SOOOOOO appreciate you. I love the fact that you saw every second of this creation. Ever since then, I’ve had a rather small audience to begin with, and as I entered deck selling / self-publishing, I had barely any business mind so I sold way under priced, and now that I have not only just learned more but the price of printing and shipping has increased quite a bit, I’ve had to raise my prices. It has also been challenging to REALLY get this out there in a big way with such a small audience. And to do so in a way that is aligned to my ethics, as I started on Etsy but they just got all kinds of f’d up in their business that I just didn’t agree with. That said, people still view my Etsy shop for whatever reason. Etsy shop is no more hahahah.

This is what the Cosmos is about. I’ve called my audience “starseeds”, the souls experiencing human life on Earth after experiencing past lives in other planets and galaxies.

Cosmos is our home. The home of super spiritual beings and vibrant souls.

Cosmos is made of stardust, asteroids, planets and black holes. The light that we shine out to the Earth and its crowd wouldn’t exist without black matter. All of these objects connect with and to each other – there’s gravity, distance and energy.

If you have experienced anything extra terrestrial, like UFOs, visitors, starseed past lives or even memories from abduction, this is your home. This is your Cosmos. And you will not be judged. You will learn from these experiences and how to use energies from them, and also things you don’t understand yet, to your greater good.

There’s energy in cosmic bodies, this is our journey. Past lives guide us starseeds in present to find our purpose and teach us ways we can grow from whatever lessons these memories present to us. What we should remember however, is that we’re living the human experience, and we have been gifted the life on Earth, whether we like it or not. What I see so often in humanity is dismissing oneself and undervaluing ourselves because “someone else does it better” or “that only happens to the lucky ones”. Excuses are endless.

You never say that to your friends though. You build them up, right? Look at it this way – what you admire in your friend/s.o./coach etc already exists within you. There’s either a seed of this quality or an obvious presence of this thing in your personality. You see what you are or what you’d like to be one day.

We are all one.

We are.

When someone makes judgements about your creations etc there’s something within THEIR consciousness that needs their attention. Plus it’s often very ego-based. They want to feel better and thus will do their all to push you down.

This is one form of lack-mentality and slightly elitists as well – truth is, there isn’t the best, better or worst, and this is because there’s such a variety of humans, animals and other beings, that it’s A) very unlikely to please everyone B) very unlikely that you won’t resonate with someone.

Lastly, if you feel like you lack something, aren’t doing it right, no one wants what you have – this is your chance to see where these feelings come from and change things up if they don’t work that way. Personally, I was following so many different influencers and while many of these people gave amazing advice, some of it was contradictory, either with another one’s advice or my personal viewpoints. So my decision is to do my thing based on my intuition and what feels right and rewarding TO ME. No matter how many people I’m inspiring and influencing, there’s no one person who I should listen to as a preacher or otherwise an authority without fault. Of course these people have helped me a lot in multiple ways, but as of now I’m being myself and giving myself that value that I lost.

You are unique and needed. There’s someone out there looking for your creations, your assistance, anything at all you’re willing to offer somebody. There’s something in you that they won’t find anywhere else. Keep this thought close to your heart while you’re building your life and influence.

Half Moon first quarter viewed form Finland

The Moon was so gorgeous.

One of those moments when I see something we all take for granted; looking so majestic in the sky; just coming home from buying groceries.

I am off anti-depressants since 7 days ago.

I have a weird relationship with Instagram.

I feel slightly lost when it comes to my public identity; I thought I was a business person; I thought I was a spiritual teacher; I thought I was a multitalented tarot reader-astrologer-starseed.

But in that mess of niches I lost my truth. I lost my reason. I knew I was doing it for the right reasons, for a good cause, but I over-defined it.

I made it into a box that only limited me.

It made me too much “one thing”. It caught me in the “hamster wheel”. It made me DESPERATE for a result other than rejection. Of ignoring. Of carelessness.

I forgot the fact that creating content is my nature.

I forgot how much it nourishes me; how much MORE it nourishes me rather than going after people on social media and relying on sale offers to gain income.

I will not stop doing readings.

I will not stop marketing them.

I will, however, focus on the strategy that brings me joy and keeps me sane.

So yeah, I won’t discount the quality of my work.

It’s only after I quit my meds that I realised these feelings. I shed a few tears as I was writing this.

I don’t know what else to say.

Birthcharts and personal growth

Your Astrological Natal Birthchart isn’t meant to limit you – How to dissolve self-imposed limitations and avoid astrological self-sabotage

I don’t have to show how much student loan I owe to prove my astrological natal birthchart accurate.

I don’t have to cling to my addictions to affirm my astrological weaknesses in my birth chart.

If you use your astrology as an excuse to not grow, you’re doing it wrong. Start to use it as a tool for self-awareness, acknowledgement and a complete picture in order to evolve and become the best you that you can be. There’s only one you, and that’s what the art of astrology can show us.

See what you can do with it. I’m a troubleshooter so I like to look at both strengths and weaknesses in an astrological natal birthchart. Although I don’t believe any astrological planet is weak per se, some are usually stronger or in their ruled zodiac signs, therefore they have more power in their placements. The concept of dominant planets and dominant zodiac signs will assist in seeing this, same with the ruler of your chart which is the ruler of your ascendant. I look at the big picture but also relevance – sure I could look at all of your houses for a love query, but that wouldn’t be specific enough… So I’d rather look at the relevant houses and placements for that, like 5th 7th 8th and 11th houses and planets like Venus, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Sun, Asteroid Juno and then aspects and rulers.

What I Mean By Oneness

In the oneness, the All, there are fractals of this One, blending in, interacting, coming together, yet all being variables of the One.

Think of it as a color spectrum… the All, the Unity is the whole spectrum, and our souls are the color variations. Different shades of color in between; not just black and white, not just red and blue, not just orange and green… but ALL those and everything in between. There are shades of similar colors, darker and lighter colors, even some colors considered “pure” and some considered “unnatural” – yet they all co-exist in the same Unity. If I’m a neon yellow and you’re a mustard, we may be variations, fractals, of the same soul group… who knows. If the person next to you is a lime green or an ochre color, they’re probably from a partner soul group or a sibling soul group.

See… the All, Oneness, Unity is not just light, it’s not even just light and dark, but it’s neutral. It’s neutral of any judgement that serves to separate us. It’s neutral of any judgement that serves to polarize us further apart. It shows all as is.

To be a part of the all doesn’t take anything away from you. In fact, it shows you how powerful you really are… by becoming more conscious, you’re taking the surrounding color hues to another level. This is not a hierarchy of control, however – it’s more of an awareness of the different cosmic layers within all of us. So yes, the Oneness is all of us individually as well. There is no separation. You are multidimensional, like it or not, and for some of you this is a hard pill to swallow because you just wanna live your life in a stale, stagnant, never progressing space. But that’s only going to make things harder in the long run. Because life and humanity changes constantly. We evolve constantly… and even just looking at the days of the week, you’ll probably find small variations and changes in the days anyway…

The evolution of consciousness has been here for a while and if on the other hand you’re one of those people who wants to get to the 5D waiting for it, wondering why we’re not there yet… change your perspective because we’ve been there for a good while. The people who still think we’re “on the way” are creating that exact reality for themselves… always on the way but never arrived. And those of you who simply don’t see it… I said: it’s already here. You’re not gonna escape it, no one is, but sure you can ignore it all you want and that’s none of my business *Kermit sips tea*

Multidimensional layers of you are always accessible to you. The 5D, 6D, 7D and more, they’re all in you already – because you are the Oneness and it is you. They just show you how the fractals get smaller. When they get smaller, they get closer to the Source. The All. Eventually, the zero point. Where everything is created. Where anything can become anything, everything can become anything, anything can become everything. You can find a zero point within you as well… but that’s for another time.

You have a higher self. Your higher self has fractals of all of the dimensions… different manifestations of each in a way. Your higher self follows these energy flows, and not all of their guidance may make sense at first in human terms, which is another thing I’d like to touch on. Your human self is what we sometimes call the lower self, but to avoid the feeling of hierarchy, I’ll just call it our human self. Lol. This is your psychology, physiology, rationale, emotions, impulses, reactions, even your ego. Though the way I see the ego death is different to how many people see it, I do see the ego as the one who wants to control, above all. I feel that the ego does manifest differently in all of us, but the main thing is, how is your ego controlling? There could be many connections to all of the other human levels in your ego and there usually is, but the main theme with an ego consciousness is the need of separation and how someone’s ego works can take things to either way. I personally, however, see the ego neutrally. I ask it questions and challenge it. But I always surrender to my higher self, because my higher self knows that the limitations are self created most of the time… actually, they’re ego created. Judging the ego will, again, make this whole process very painful for you. Because of course the ego is part of the Oneness but it doesn’t want to admit it! The ego wants separation. Some spiritual people and practitioners go through a spiritual ego phase which basically shows you the whole “omg why are these people so 3D?!”-syndrome. Judgement of those who are not spiritual – note, that to state a fact is not judgement – is spiritual ego. Trying to force control over those who, according to you are living in the 3D, is spiritual ego.

Like I said, it’s none of my business that people choose to ignore the evolution of consciousness. It’s none of my business that some want to ignore the spiritual in their daily lives… but what is my business, what is my responsibility, is to inform people. Inform through my neutral approach and respect your free will. I’m not leading anything here. I’m not here to convert people. Just expressing. My higher self does this sometimes. And I would encourage anyone, in any circumstances, to follow their calling. To listen to those desires for a more ideal life circumstance. To make sure you live your life stream and not somebody else’s timeline. To shine as you are. To go for it anyway. To truly embody your higher self… grow and evolve. It’s your choice.

12 Things To Do This Leo Season – Leo Season Bucket List #LeoSeason

1. Throw a party. Leos love to party because they are the life of the party. They like being in the spotlight. They like having fun. They like enjoying life. And that’s what parties are all about, right? All the joy, the happiness, the gratitude, the love. Love Is All Around in all the parties!

2. Creating something by yourself on your own. My book recommendation for this is here: Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. It is a wonderful book for creativity. Kind of the magic of being creative. Do something creative on your own. This is a thing with Leo – they like to be their own bosses, doing creative exploration by themselves on their own. Make something for yourself by yourself, that’s the thing. Leo’s are not only creative but they are independent creatives and they like to be the leaders of themselves anyway.

3. Experience luxury. This is another thing I’m not sure if people really talk about – the fact that Leo’s are the sort of for royals of the Zodiac, the luxurious ones. You can think about this in many ways and the luxury doesn’t have to be a new golden watch or anything like that. It can just be something that you usually wouldn’t go for in your daily life but something that makes you feel really good and gives you that pleasurable feeling and kind of make it into a me-time type of thing. So that’s what I mean by experiencing luxury.

4. Sun bathe. Lay on your back, sunbathe, because hey why the heck not. You know when any type of Feline when they lay on the sun and just Chill like that you know.

6. Do your hair. Leos love their hair, their lion’s mane, so doing your hair, treating your hair – treat your hair this month, this Leo season!

7. Play follow the leader or the king of the mountain or something like that because again Leos are the leaders and the kings, the royals of the zodiac.

8. Play anything that just makes your inner child scream and laugh of joy, the inner child play type of things are very much of a Leo thing to do, the act of any type of playing makes the Leo heart sing basically.

9. Buy new sunglasses. We’re getting back into the Sun as a theme – Leo allows us to enjoy that luxury, they love those luxurious sunglasses so get yourself new sunglasses, maybe upgrade your current sunglasses. Yes Leo probably isn’t the most minimalistic but they’ve got to have their quality things so if your sunglasses are crappy – get new ones! And then maybe give those old ones to charity or something.

10. Get inspired by a celebrity. Any type of celebrity. Celebrity spotting not in a creepy way of course, get inspired by someone who’s generally admired. I think this is something cool we can all do. Even though personally I’m not too big on celebrities I think there are specific celebrities that have made some quite significant things in this world that we can get inspired from. I think this should be a regular practice for all of us because sometimes we just forget what are the things that we can make happen in this world. So that’s my point.

11. Pretend to be a celebrity for one day – Leos love being in the spotlight so maybe you just imagine yourself as being a celebrity a superstar for one day and just do it like act and play as if you are a Beyonce or Oprah or Justin Timberlake etc. Examples of famous Leo Suns: Jennifer Lopez, Beatrix Potter, Barack Obama, Louis Armstrong, Whitney Houston…

12. Make space for true fun and joy. Yes making space for true fun and joy should be something we regularly do and something we just place in our lives on a consistent basis because who doesn’t want to have fun and joy and play?

12 Things To Do This Cancer Season

Here’s this blog post in video form:

1. Tune in to how your home feels like – one of those Cancerian things is that they are very sensitive, they feel a lot of stuff. I wouldn’t say more than others but they do have some very deep feelings and they’re well in tune with them. And I personally know this as I have a water trine with 2 planets in Cancer. It affects me, OK?!

Here’s the thing with Cancerians, they love being home. They are quite introverted usually. They are represented by the fourth house of home, privacy, the inner world. Do some feng shui around your home just to make sure that the home you’re living in represents your dreams, reflects what you want to feel in it.

2. Spend time with your family. This can be either your soul family – people who are not necessarily genetically connected to you. Whatever you consider your family to be spend time with them.

3. Forgive someone and this is something that might be very hard for someone who has sun in Cancer or influences of Cancer in their birthchart. But it is highly suggested to do that now because once you forgive someone you’re going to be opening up this door to more peace, more harmony in your life.

4. Ask for forgiveness. This has been already happening for some of us – if you do realise that you feel very uneasy about something that you directed towards someone else you may want to ask for forgiveness.

5. Hot bath, maybe under candlelight – very Cancerian, go into it like being in the womb or something. I would recommend being in a dim lighting because it’s going to relax you. And this just me personally but the sort of dim lighting helps my intuition a bit more and it helps me to really relax and get into a meditative state. But of course do what works best for you.

6. Related to the water element of the Cancer – go for a swim. This would be a perfect thing to do for those of us who are in the summer season. If you have the summer season in the typical Cancer season then do go for a swim get into the element of water which the sign of Cancer is ruled by.

7. Listen to your emotions. Listening to how you feel then you can also work from that, you can work into getting into a better emotional state. However you can and you can listen to the reasons why you might be feeling certain way. you are not gonna wanna just push those feelings away because that usually hurts us more than it helps us.

8. Have a full moon ritual or a new moon ritual – any kind of moon ritual. This definitely for those of us who are more spiritually aligned, who are more spiritually interested – if you’re not really into that then of course you may just like figure out what you can do with this moon thing. No dogma here.

9. Talk about your emotional issues with someone. This is therapy basically but it doesn’t have to be therapy. You can also just talk to your friend someone who you can trust and just talk about your emotions. If you don’t usually do that this would be the perfect time of the year to do that because people are in tune with it or are going to be more empathic and understanding because of the fact that we are in in the waters now.

10. Lose yourself in poetry, art – any kind of art forms which kind of come from this emotional sense of the the water element and sometimes also fire. I think creativity can come from any element, with Cancerians the sort of poetic and artistic ways of expression are very strong.

11. You can also lose yourself in a romantic film. So this is something that I definitely personally don’t do because I’m just like not into those type of movies. But if this is something that you are indeed interested in then I would recommend it for this month. Watch magical films every day. .

12. Go for a summer picnic with some friends like a few close friends. That’s definitely more about the the Cancerian energies. Just a few close friends and it’s kind of like this sort of core group and not necessarily a huge crowd like Gemini or Leo do.

The Hanged One feels serene waiting for the tide to decrease. They’re tied onto the surface of the sea, looking at the bottom from another angle. They have all the time to reflect on this stage – what’s come before and what’s up next. What did we do that didn’t work so well and what was a major success, there’s many things to pond-er (hehehe)

Today is a perfect time to take a break from anything that has been getting on your nervous system, so de-stress as much as you can. You could also have a challenge that you could look at another angle – my intuitive hit points at rejection of ideas, so whenever you get new thoughts of a current project or issue at hand, consider it before you throw it out of the window right away. Many times we have the ego standing in the way of many beautiful things happening just because it’s a stubborn prick wanting to stay comfortable. So seek upleveling today. Level up who you are today and what you’re capable of. Really take time to reflect and meditate. Avoid rush and speed.

12 Things To Do this Gemini Season

Here are the top 12 things to do this Gemini season aka Sun Transiting Gemini. I’m extremely happy to make this post because I am a Gemini Sun Person! YAY!

1. Talk to an old friend. Gemini people have friends. So you probably have a bunch of old friends you haven’t caught up with in a while. Go ahead and do that.

2. Making new friends. Take some time to network with people. It doesn’t have to be like 10. Like you can make one or two new friends if you want to, or just get to know someone. Even if they don’t end up really becoming your lifelong friends, if they’re just people you know. It’s OK. Wouldn’t need to be putting so much pressure on ourselves to be the best at everything we would do, become too goal oriented towards making friends.

3. Study something intriguing – the key here is that something that makes you very curious and doesn’t feel like you just have to study this. When I was doing A-levels there were several subjects that I didn’t quite like, didn’t give me the motivation to learn them because I didn’t like them. It felt like the waste of my time. So I wouldn’t enjoy studying those things, but my fave subjects got my brain stimulated in a nice way.

4. Say hello to your sibling(s). Or sometimes your siblings don’t have to be blood relatives, or from your family. They can be Metaphorical siblings. Take that connection to your siblings. Take some time to say hello and let them know that you exist.

5. Look at things from two perspectives – Gemini are the twins so they have the duality nature. We should look at things from two perspectives. We should look at things from either or, or both. That’s something that’s a very positive effect of Gemini because then we kind of get out of the tunnel vision.

6. Very practical tip – when you go out shopping, compare prices. This talks about looking from two different perspectives. But here we can have even more than two comparing prices comparing the quality of the items, for example coffee: one costs 10 € and other one costs 2 €. This one isn’t organic and it’s mass produced – but this other one is made by an independent brewery. Which one would you like which you would you think is more qualifying for their money really?

7. Talk to yourself. Or..

8. Talk to your plants, your pets, your neighbors – just talk. Talk more. Even complete nonsense, this season is great for experimenting with talking because it can also stimulate your thoughts like your inner world, how you express things coming outside yourself.

9. Brainstorm. This is such a Gemini thing to do because they have all these ideas. It cannot even explain it in one sentence. If you come into my mind you wouldn’t be able to go much further from the front door. You’d be just having to stop and see like oh what’s this book of ideas here ohhh another shiny object ohh what’s that LOLLLL memessss. What’s this book, what’s this notebook. That’s kind of how I think about it. It’s kind of a library of a million types of ideas for a million different categories.

10. Switch things up – Geminis appreciate change. They get bored easily. For example if you always drink your coffee in a little mug like this… Maybe you should get yourself a yellow mug and try it out – yellow is the colour of Gemini after all. Try things like that maybe you should put your hair on the other side. Any little changes. Use a different colour pen, if you usually don’t make your bed in the morning, try making your bed every morning, building your morning routine around that.

11. I kind of mentioned it already – Wear yellow. Find some more yellow. Yellow is the colour correspondence of Gemini; in most sources.

12. Write, journal and read. Now what I’ve been really liking this month so far is reading fiction. I’ve just been so drawn to reading fiction books. And I think it’s partly also because of Neptune being in Pisces. They’re in their home signs. So it’s like ultimate smoothness for fiction reading and writing. I have been really liking writing things and journaling. And it’s such a good time for it because it is Gemini season. And of course journaling is lovely. WORMHOLES OF SAM RIT

Wormholes of Sam Rit is the story of how a 20-something scifi artist traveled to a rural Thai village to create artwork and experience life from another perspective – quite literally.

WORM HOLES IN THE VILLAGE OF SAM RIT, NAKHON RATCHASIMA, THAILAND.

OPEN-MINDEDNESS LED ME HERE, OPEN-MINDEDNESS INVITED ME.

MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS ALONG THE LINES OF ”THERE’S SOMETHING BENEFICIAL ABOUT BEING FINNISH, APPARENTLY.”

SPENDING THE HOLIDAY SEASON, DECEMBER IN THAILAND WAS A DREAM COME TRUE, AND SO WAS THE ARTIST RESIDENCY. I’VE NEVER REALLY BEEN FOND OF THE COLD FREEZING WINTERS IN FINLAND SO THE WARM LOCATION HAS BEEN VERY PLEASANT AND UPLIFTING.

THIS WAS MY FIRST TRIP TO ASIA AND MY FIRST LONG HAUL FLIGHT. I WAS SURPRISED HOW EASY IT WAS FOR ME TO TOLERATE THE +10 HOUR FLIGHT FROM COPENHAGEN, WHERE I SWITCHED. ONCE I LANDED, I WENT TO FIND LINDSAY. IT WAS EASY TO CHANGE MONEY IN THIS WIDE, HUGE AIRPORT OF SUVARNABUMI IN BANGKOK. THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE WITH SIGNS WITH THE NAMES ON THERE, LINDSAY TOO OF COURSE, AND HE SPOTTED ME FIRST.

IT WAS NICE TO GET THE DRIVE TO THE SAM RIT RESIDENCY AS I GOT TO CHAT WITH HIM ABOUT ALMOST EVERYTHING, STOP FOR FRUIT, TOILET AND SO ON. WE GRABBED FOOD FOR ME AS WELL SO I COULD GET STARTED WHICH I REALLY APPRECIATE.

I REMEMBER THE WHOLE DRIVE SO VIVIDLY AS IT WAS A REALLY HOT DAY – I DRANK A LOT OF WATER AND FELT EXTRA TIRED AFTER THE FLIGHT SO SLEEPING IN THE CAR WAS A GOOD OPTION TO HAVE AT HAND.

MY PERSONAL TOURIST GUIDE FOR THE FIRST FEW DAYS WAS ART, WORKING AT THE RESIDENCY FOR THIS SPECIFIC PURPOSE I GUESS. I THINK I WAS RELATIVELY EASY GUEST AS I’M RATHER INTROVERTED AND NEED SOME SPACE AND REST IN BETWEEN DOING AND SEEING THINGS. IT WAS NICE TO NOTICE THAT THAI PEOPLE ARE VERY RELAXED AND DOWN TO EARTH SO THERE WASN’T A NEED FOR EXCESSIVE PLANNING OR THE FEELING OF RUSH.

I FEEL LIKE MY BIGGEST CHALLENGE WAS TO KEEP UP THE OUTGOING MINDSET – I OFTEN GET INTO ”NO HUMANS TODAY, OK” -MOOD SO WHEN THAT WOULD HAPPEN MY INTERACTIONS WITH THE THAI PEOPLE COULD HAVE BEEN LACKING IN FRIENDLINESS OR THE JOYFUL EXPRESSION THAT MOST OF THEM HAVE, WHERE AS FINNISH AND BALTIC PEOPLE ARE A BIT SERIOUS LOOKING. WE DON’T SMILE TOO MUCH! IT DOESN’T MEAN THAT WE DON’T FEEL THAT WAY, BUT IT’S OUR CULTURAL FACE HAHAHA.

I SURVIVED THIS SMALL VILLAGE AS A VEGAN, QUEER PERSON, WHICH DOESN’T SEEM TO BOTHER ANYONE. THEY QUICKLY FIGURED HOW TO COOK ME VEGAN MEALS – AGAIN, I DON’T KNOW HOW TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE FOR THIS – AND PEOPLE WOULD GREET ME THE SAME WAY AS OTHERS, I BELIEVE.

I SAW THE TWO CITIES CLOSEST TO SAM RIT AND THOSE WERE OTHER WORLDS TO BE HONEST. I EVEN GOT A BIT ANXIOUS AT THIS ONE MARKET WE VISITED WITH ART– NOTHING TOO SEVERE, I EXPERIENCE THIS FEELING FROM TIME TO TIME. OTHERWISE MY MENTAL HEALTH WAS SURPRISINGLY WELL THROUGH THIS VISIT AND I ONLY HAD SOME DIGESTION ISSUES THE FIRST FEW DAYS AND POLLEN ALLERGY BUT THOSE WENT AWAY.

I’M SO HAPPY THAT I GOT TO SEE THE FARM AS THERE ARE PIGS! PIGS ARE MY FAVORITE ANIMALS AND KIND OF THE REASON I WENT VEGAN IN THE FIRST PLACE. THERE WERE TEN PIGLETS THAT I WENT TO CUDDLE AND PLAY WITH AND THE FEELING THAT I GOT FROM IT IS SOMETHING THAT I’VE NEVER EXPERIENCED BEFORE – SO I FIND IT CHALLENGING TO EXPLAIN IN WORDS. I’M SURE THEY LOVE ME TOO… I ALSO GOT FOND OF THE GECKOS. THEY’RE LOUD AND ONE EVEN CAME TO MY COTTAGE AND THAT FREAKED ME OUT A LITTLE BIT BUT WE GOT RID OF HIM AND FOUND A WAY TO STOP THE GECKOS FROM COMING THERE.

I WENT THROUGH SOME HUGE EPIPHANIES ON THIS STAY.

THE WORMHOLE CONCEPT IS ABOUT SYNCHRONICITIES AND MISSING LINKS, AS IF SOMETHING INVISIBLE CONNECTS US AND ALMOST MAGNETICALLY BRINGS US TOGETHER.

I FEEL THAT A LOT OF THAT BROUGHT ME HERE AS THESE SYNCHRONICITIES STARTED TO POP UP EVERYWHERE. FIRST WITH A LOT OF THINGS I TALKED WITH LINDSAY, THEN IN THE PLACES I WENT TO I WOULD SEE SYMBOLISM THAT I WOULD EITHER HAVE NIGHTLY DREAMS OF OR HAVE SIGNIFICANT AFFECTION TO.

BESIDES THIS, SO MANY THINGS SEEMED TO FALL INTO PLACE WHILE I WAS HERE THAT IT STARTED TO FEEL SURREAL.

THIS WORMHOLE SYMBOLISM IS THE THEME OF MY WORKING THAT I’VE DONE WITH PROFESSOR SURICHAI BY MAKING PRINTS – WE DOCUMENTED IT BY VIDEO AND PHOTOS. I’VE REALLY MISSED PRINT MAKING SO THIS WAS INDEED A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO GET BACK INTO IT.

MOST OF THESE SYNCHRONICITIES SURPRISED ME AS THEY USUALLY DO – THEY KIND OF COME OUT OF THE BLUE. I’VE BEEN TRYING TO COME UP WITH A NEW NAME TO MYSELF AS I’VE BEEN WANTING TO CHANGE MY LEGAL NAME.

THIS HAPPENED WHEN THE MOON WAS FULL AS I COMPLETELY RANDOMLY GOT THE IDEA TO SEARCH FOR FRENCH GENDER NEUTRAL NAMES.

WHY FRENCH?

NO IDEA.

I PROBABLY UNCONSCIOUSLY PICKED IT UP FROM ONLINE BY CHANCE AND THOUGHT TO DO THE SEARCH BUT THE RESULTS OF THAT INCIDENCE WAS THE BREAKTHROUGH.

SECONDLY, I WAS INVITED TO A FAMILY DINNER FOR CHRISTMAS DAY AND THERE WERE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHICH GOT ME REALLY NERVOUS. IT WAS WONDERFUL THAT THERE WERE MORE NON THAI PEOPLE BESIDES ME AND LINDSAY THERE WHICH WAS ALSO QUITE RANDOM I SUPPOSE – I HEARD THEY HAD GOT TO KNOW THE FAMILY FAIRLY RECENTLY. I WAS SUPPOSED TO MAKE A FINNISH DRINK CALLED GLÖGI BUT I WAS TOO NERVOUS TO DO SO, I HAVE HUGE STAGE FRIGHT AND THIS SEEMED LIKE A PERFORMANCE HAHAHAH!

ANYWAY, WE HAD SOME BEAUTIFULLY EXPANSIVE CONVERSATIONS WITH THESE TWO TEACHERS AND ONCE THEY LEFT LINDSAY ASKED ME ABOUT MY DREAMS. I WOULDN’T WRITE IT HERE IF IT WASN’T SIGNIFICANT TO ME TO MENTION, KEEP IN MIND. FOR A LONG TIME I’VE HAD MANY DREAMS AND BEEN JUST ”DOING ME” LIVING MOSTLY IN THE PRESENT.

I HAD A CHALLENGE TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION SINCE NOT ONLY IS IT A CHALLENGE TO SUM IT UP WHEN ASKED SO UPFRONT, BUT ALSO BECAUSE I’VE ”JUST BEEN DOING THESE THINGS”. WHAT I MEAN BY THIS IS THAT FOR A WHILE I HAVEN’T THOUGHT OF THE BIGGER PICTURE, THE BIGGER WHY, DREAM PICTURE… WHATEVER YOU WISH TO CALL IT, I’VE HAD THIS THOUGHT REPEATING IN MY HEAD – WHAT IS MY PICTURE PERFECT, THE DREAM? WHAT DO I ACTUALLY WANT? SOMETHING DEEPER.

WHAT I WOULD ALWAYS ANSWER TO THAT WOULD BE TO HAVE A POSITIVE IMPACT ON EARTH AND LEAVE IT PRETTIER THAN WHEN I GOT HERE. TO GIVE OUT SOMETHING THAT LEAVES A VALUABLE IMPRINT. TO SHOW PEOPLE THE BETTER EARTH, THE BETTER FUTURE. THE POSSIBILITIES.

BUT WHY DO I TRULY WANT THIS?

THIS WAS THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING WHY I DO WHAT I DO.

IT IS BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT TO GIVE.

I HAVE A LOT TO SHARE.

IT LEAVES ME FULFILLED TO SEE THAT SATISFACTION IN OTHERS, TO AFFECT PEOPLE IN A POSITIVE WAY.

BUT I HAD FORGOT SOMETHING ON THE WAY.

I’VE EXPERIENCED A LOT OF LONELINESS IN MY LIFE AND I’M QUITE INTROVERTED IN NATURE. I’VE ALSO EXPERIENCED TRAUMATIZING EVENTS IN REGARDS TO PEOPLE AND RELATIONSHIPS. THAT’S WHY I’VE DISTANCED MYSELF FROM ONE ON ONE RELATIONSHIPS IN THE ROMANCE VIEWPOINT. IT HASN’T BEEN A PRIORITY NOR A DREAM PER SE. I’VE NEVER REALLY EXPERIENCED A BALANCED RELATIONSHIP IN A ROMANTIC WAY, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A LOT OF LOVE TO GIVE. I USED TO GRIEVE THIS BECAUSE IT SOUNDS VERY SAD. BUT IT HAS HELPED ME TO FIND AN OUTLET FOR THAT LOVE IN OTHER PLACES. I NEVER LET THIS BRING ME DOWN OR MAKE ME FEEL UNWORTHY.

FOR A LONG TIME I HAD ALL THESE IDEAS OF A PERFECT PARTNER AND NOW THAT I THINK ABOUT IT YEARS LATER, IT SEEMS SUPERFICIAL AND ODD. ONCE I CAME OUT AND SHIFTED TO JUST FEELING INSTEAD OF PUSHING THINGS AND PEOPLE AWAY, THERE NO LONGER WAS A BOX TO FIT ROMANCE IN.

THE WORMHOLE IS HERE TO TIE ALL OF THIS TOGETHER.

I MET MY CURRENT LOVE INTEREST LAST MAY, 2018, AFTER MAKING A WISH AT 00:00AM AND LITERALLY JUST MINUTES LATER AS I WENT TO TRAFFIC LIGHTS HE SAID HI TO ME IN THE CORNER OF THE CROSSING AND WE STARTED TALKING.

IT WAS ONE OF THOSE HAPPY ACCIDENTS THAT LED ONTO THIS INSIGHTFUL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN US TWO.

AS OF 2018 WE ARE STILL IN LOVE AND WILL MEET UP AGAIN SOON. I’M TELLING THIS STORY BECAUSE ALL ALONG I KNEW I MET HIM FOR A REASON AND KNEW I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE WITH HIM. THIS WAY OF EXPERIENCING THIS FEELING IS UNLIKE MY OTHER RELATIONSHIPS AND LOVE INTERESTS PREVIOUSLY.

IN A SIMILAR WAY, A LOT OF THINGS JUST LINED UP IN SAM RIT AND IT WAS SOMEHOW A LOT MORE MYSTICAL THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE. SOMETHING QUITE RANDOM FOR EXAMPLE IS THE FACT THAT LINDSAY HAS A LOT IN COMMON WITH MY DAD – THEY BOTH HAVE THEIR SUN IN THE SIGN OF SCORPIO, AND HAVE WORKED AS NURSES, ONLY DIFFERENCE BEING THAT MY DAD STILL WORKS THERE. I THINK IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT I MEET A LOT OF SCORPIO PEOPLE NO MATTER WHERE I GO AND IT’S A FASCINATING SIGN IN ASTROLOGY. FOR ME SCORPIO IS IN MY 4TH HOUSE OF HOME AND FAMILY SO MAYBE I JUST ”FEEL AT HOME” AROUND THESE MYSTERIOUS PEOPLE. AND THERE WAS A LOT OF THAT IN THE AIR IN RURAL THAILAND.

AT NIGHT THE SKY WOULD BE CLOUDLESS AND I COULD SEE THE STARS AND THE MOON TURNING TO IT’S SIDE WHILE RISING FOR THE NIGHT. I’VE GOT USED TO SEEING THE MOON VERTICALLY IN SKANDINAVIA. THE EFFECT THE MOON HAD ON INSECTS WAS ALSO QUITE HUGE, IT SEEMED THAT THEY WENT WACKY OVER THE MOON’S MOVEMENTS.

THROUGH MY TIME AT THE RESIDENCY I ALSO STARTED TO WORK ON MY ORACLE DECK – THE INSPIRING ALIEN ORACLE DECK. I HAVE CREATED MY TAROT DECK UNDER THE SAME INSPIRING ALIEN THEME SO THIS DECK WILL BE A SIBLING TO IT.

AFTER THIS RESIDENCY EXPERIENCE, I KNOW I’LL HAVE TO INCLUDE A CARD CALLED ”WORMHOLE” TO IT, WHICH COULD BE A DIGITAL COLLAGE/MANIPULATION OR ANOTHER VERSION OF THE WORK THAT I DID AT THE SCHOOL WHILE OBSERVING SURICHAI’S WORKING.

DIGITAL COLLAGE AND PHOTO MANIPULATION HAS BEEN A NEW ARTISTIC PURSUIT FOR ME AND I’VE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH IT.

I HAD A FEW BITS OF MY GRAPHIC ARTWORK IN MY TAROT DECK SO USING SOME OF THESE NEW ONES AND OTHER IMAGERY FROM THIS ART MEDIUM WOULD BE A COOL ADDITION TO MY ORACLE DECK. I MANAGED TO FINISH – OR GET VERY CLOSE TO FINISHING – 6 CARDS TO THIS DECK AND I’VE STARTED ON SEVERAL NEW ONES AS I RETURNED HOME. THESE CARDS HAVE A LOT OF COSMIC SYMBOLISM AND EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL CONCEPTS IN THEM INCLUDING DRAGONS, MERMAIDS, HUMAN INVENTIONS, AND SO ON. MY VISIT TO SAM RIT HAS DEFINITELY SPARKED A FLAME OF NEW IDEAS AND VISUALS TO ADD ONTO MY WORK IN THE NEAR FUTURE AS I BUILD ON THE DECK AND THE IMAGERY.
